Payroll Burster Application

This customer's payroll department receives a payroll register bi-weekly immediately following each payroll run. It must be 'burst' and the appropriate details sent to managers, directors, and VPs. A single department may be sent to many managers and, similarly, a manager may receive data for many departments. An additional concern is that the data is sensitive so the risk of distribution errors must be minimized. With the BFC solution: - The register is loaded into the MS Access database and a single, customized MS Excel spreadsheet is emailed to each manager/director/VP - Each spreadsheet contains a separate sheet for each of that individual's departments for viewing convenience - Department/Manager configuration is built into the database ensuring consistancy in each run and minimizing the risk of distribution mistakes - MS Excel spreadsheets have a custom password for additional data protection - The administrator can review mailings before they are sent allowing for even more security - The effort involved in the entire distribution process is now minimal
